Redwood Terrace partners with new medical team for residential clinic

Redwood Terrace is pleased to announce its new partnership with Senior Medical Associates, a multi-specialty medical group based in San Diego.

Through the new partnership, Senior Medical Associates have provided a team of physicians and helped the community to set up a new in-house clinic for our residents. Since June, residents have had access to a range of healthcare services including primary health care and specialty medical consultations like neurology and mental health services.

“We need to be innovative in providing care for our residents,” said Sabrina Consiglio, health services administrator at Redwood Terrace. “This partnership alleviates the burden on them because they will have access to not only a doctor and nurse practitioner, but also an on-site specialist. This an example of clinical excellence within our community.”

Outside of the clinic, Senior Medical Associates is also supporting our skilled nursing team with the continuum care for patients in long-term care and short-term rehabilitation. They’re also working with our care team in reviewing medical histories for prospective residents.

Senior Medical Associates specializes in family medicine, geriatric care, internal medicine and mental health care.
