Update on Caldor fire and flooding in Pennsylvania: September 3, 2021

We continue to monitor the Caldor fire, as the dangerous winds have subsided and firefighters make more progress on containing the fire. Our team members also continue to support our residents from Kelly Ridge and Tahoe Senior Plaza who remain in shelters or with family and friends away from the communities—one resident was transferred to our Piedmont Gardens life plan community for appropriate care.

In Pennsylvania, our affordable housing community, Riverside Presbyterian Apartments, remains impacted by water damage to the building’s parking lot, ground floor and elevator shafts. Assessments for repair are underway and our teams are staying in touch with residents to support them as needed.

More information will be available to share next week and we will keep a close eye on the fires and flooding over the holiday weekend. As always, thank you for your support and please stay safe and well.
