Practicing healthy lifestyle habits can be enjoyable and benefit both your body and brain. Adopting healthy habits can help keep your mind sharp and slash your risk for developing Alzheimer’s disease or other types of dementia. In this session, you’ll learn about:

• The difference between normal aging, mild cognitive impairment and dementia.

• How to optimize brain health by controlling heart disease and diabetes.

• Keeping your brain fit with physical, mental and social activity.

• Brain-healthy eating and sleep habits.

Our speaker, licensed psychologist Cordula Dick-Muehlke, has dedicated her career to enhancing the lives of people with Alzheimer’s disease and their families. She distills academic research into practical, simple steps you can take to optimize your brain health.
