At HumanGood, we’re reimagining the dining experience in our communities by bringing innovation and simplicity to the table. This week, White Sands La Jolla debuted a dining pilot program by inviting residents to a special dinner, featuring a menu with local, sustainably-sourced, farm-to-table ingredients.

The dinner was served family style, with menu items that were simple, fresh, elegantly prepared and meant to be enjoyed in the company of others. They included oil-poached local albacore, roasted sweet corn polenta and charred carrots with honey and bee pollen.

It’s a preview of our new approach to dining in our communities, showcasing how HumanGood values translate into an improved experience in our communities. Real foods, freshly prepared, ethically farmed and sustainably sourced—these are more than guiding principles to how we buy, prepare and serve food. It’s what we believe in, and the ideas, menu items and innovative approach to dining tested at White Sands could make its way to other communities in the coming months.
