The Terraces of Los Gatos recognized six local seniors for their commitment to service and contributions to notable organizations in Los Gatos and Monte Sereno. Los Gatos Mayor Steve Leonardis and Monte Sereno councilmember Liz Lawler were on hand for the 24th annual Seniors of Distinction Awards ceremony held June 20.
During the celebration, the Terraces named the following recipients for 2019:
- Mary Martin – Friends of Los Gatos Public Library
- Joanna Brice – History Club of Los Gatos
- Rosalie Patterson – Kiwanis Club of Los Gatos
- Suzanne Boxer Gassman – Rotary Club of Los Gatos
- Linda Sampson – The Terraces of Los Gatos
- Lydia Norcia – Town of Los Gatos Community and Senior Services Commission
