On June 20, 2017, The Terraces at Los Altos will celebrate the completion of its $100 million, multi-phase project.
Los Altos Mayor, Mary Prochnow, will join The Terraces leadership team for the afternoon to celebrate the grand opening of our newly renovated continuing care retirement community. The transformation includes 81 new residential living apartments, along with new common areas, a fitness center and spa, restaurant-style dining venues, a movie theater and much more. The project was intended to provide our current residents with a variety of different options while also meeting the needs of a new generation of older adults.
In 2014, the first phase of construction was completed. This phase added 30 new skilled nursing suites and 16 dedicated memory support suites to our community. The second phase of construction included an additional 30 assisted living residences with personalized care tailored to meet individual needs. Our latest phase, combined with the earlier phases, now allows us to provide a full spectrum of amenities and options for all of our residents.
