Rosewood hosted the 11th Annual Kern County Senior Games on Friday as part of a fundraiser for Seniors of Kern County and the Alzheimer’s Disease Association of Kern County.
More than 400 seniors–-including our residents---participated in a host of competitive games including horseshoe toss, golf, rock climbing and speed walking in an effort to win one of the coveted 2017 Senior Games trophies.
“Who doesn’t love a little competition,” Rosewood Executive Director Travis Staples told the local news. “The participants take this very, very seriously.”
