Dubbed the “Season of Giving Back,” the Terraces at Los Altos residents and team members kicked off their efforts in November with a food drive to support Second Harvest Food Bank of San Marcos and San Mateo. This is the sixth year the community has held a food drive and their goal for this year’s drive was to collect about 500 pounds in food.
Separately, a group of residents participated in an effort to write and send holiday cards to the men and women who are serving overseas in the military. And lastly, residents and team members took part in the annual Holiday Wish List program through the Family Giving Tree, which is a charitable organization that supports local Bay Area families in need.
