Tucked away in the elaborate hobby shop at Valle Verde, residents put the finishing touches on custom-made toys that they hope will put a smile on the faces of local children in need this holiday. The toys—among them wooden baby cribs—were donated to the Unity Shoppe, a local nonprofit organization that serves low-income children, families and seniors.
