With less than three weeks left in the 2017 mayoral race in Santa Barbara, Valle Verde residents welcomed all five candidates to the community to discuss key issues impacting the city.
Cathy Murillo, Angel Martinez, Hal Conklin, Frank Hotchkiss and Harwood “Bendy” White addressed a wide range of topics including water issues in Santa Barbara, raising the city’s sales tax and future development plans for affordable housing in the city. The 90-minute panel discussion, sponsored by the Life Enrichment Committee of the Resident Council, was moderated by Valle Verde resident and former city council member E. Langer.
