CBS Sunday Morning recently shared Anderson’s story of how she herself is a breast cancer survivor who decided over two years ago that she wanted to help other survivors. She can spend almost half of her day knitting the bra inserts; and since 2017, she has shipped nationwide over 200 pairs of the inserts which come in all sizes and in an array of pastel colors.

“This is a personal gift from one survivor to another, and to help them feel like normal women again and not victims,” Anderson said in her interview with CBS News

Discover more in the Coast News Group and the Escondido Times-Advocate about her own fight against breast cancer, the start of her nonprofit organization Sisterhood of the Boobless Wonders and her 50-year career as a fiber designer and craftswoman.
