April 26, 2021 -- Piedmont Gardens held a graduation ceremony on Saturday, April 17 for its second class of certified nursing assistants (CNA’s). Five HumanGood team members completed the twelve-week course, which consisted of six weeks of classroom training and six weeks of clinical training. John Cochrane addressed the graduates via Zoom to offer his congratulations on their achievements.

Piedmont Gardens developed the state-approved program in 2019 to address the need for CNA’s, and to offer a career path for existing HumanGood team members. Five HumanGood team members from Piedmont Gardens and Grand Lake Gardens completed the spring 2021 program, with instruction held evenings and weekends.

“We’re proud of the team members for their dedication and hard work, and we are pleased to celebrate their accomplishments and promotions,” said Daniel Wittman, executive director of Piedmont Gardens. “Please join me in extending congratulations to our spring 2021 graduates.”

Going forward, Piedmont Gardens plans to offer the course twice a year.
