HumanGood and the South San Francisco Rotary Club celebrated its partnership to develop a new housing community in South San Francisco with an official groundbreaking ceremony.

Rotary Miller Avenue Senior Housing will provide 81 one-bedroom apartments for low-income seniors. The new residence will join the HumanGood family of affordable housing communities, currently totaling 62 properties throughout California and in Washington State.

South San Francisco Mayor Pradeep Gupta and State Senator Jerry Hill were among honored guests who shared their appreciation for the project.

Rotary Miller Avenue Senior Housing, which is slated to be completed by October 2018, is located a quarter mile from a Caltrain station and is within the city’s downtown redevelopment subarea.  The new building will also house ground-level office space for the South San Francisco Rotary Club that will double as a community space. Amenities also include a fitness center, library, high-speed internet and roof-top garden.
