HumanGood partners with One Day University to provide online learning for residents

September 1, 2020 – HumanGood is pleased to announce our new partnership with One Day University. As part of this partnership, residents of our 21 life plan communities and 95 affordable housing communities will receive a free membership, and be entitled to access One Day University’s live online talks, along with their extensive video library of pre-recorded talks presented by professors from top-tier schools. HumanGood team members will also have access to this information.

One Day University will offer HumanGood residents new live talks daily, streaming one-hour talks with one of 300 professors on topics including history, the arts, psychology, culture and more. One Day also offers access to an online video library with 400+ prerecorded talks on science, history, art, politics, and literature. In addition, One Day offers opportunities for residents to participate in interactive small group discussions with professors to allow them to have a deeper understanding of the topic.

“We are excited by the partnership with One Day University, and the opportunity to bring learning that’s informative, inspiring and fun to our residents,” said Dennis Gradillas, Vice President of Sales for HumanGood. “This is another way that we’re helping older adults live their best lives possible through the joy of lifelong learning.”

“We are thrilled and honored to partner with HumanGood to bring lifelong learning to their residents,” said Kevin Brennan, Managing Director of One Day University. “We believe that learning is essential to a healthy, happy life and are so proud to work with groups like HumanGood that share this belief .”
