In a special presentation, residents recently discovered the benefits of adopting healthy habits to keep the mind sharp and reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Chef Juan Fuentes and Samantha Iovino, the community’s registered dietician, shared the 10 healthy foods that will boost overall brain health as well as other aspects of ‘The Mind Diet.’

Adding brain-friendly choices into your eating routine can help prevent or slow the progression of the most common forms of long-term memory loss, according to Rush University Medical Center researchers. Check out below the ‘Mind Diet Plan’ developed by the medical center’s researchers:
