HumanGood supports Ukraine

April 13, 2022 -- Residents and team members at HumanGood communities have stepped up to help residents of Ukraine. White Sands in La Jolla, CA held a welcome celebration for a local Ukrainian refugee family, complete with gift cards and a parade at the community.

Residents and team members welcomed the family of a grandmother, mother and her three-year-old daughter with sunflowers and Ukrainian flags. Local news was onsite at White Sands to cover the event, and Pat Guerrero, director of hospitality at White Sands, was interviewed by NBC in a segment entitled “Shortest parade with the most open arms.”

Residents at the Mansion at Rosemont in Bryn Mawr, PA have donated their time and resources to the Ukrainian crisis over the past few weeks.  Residents raised more than $2,000 and donated the money to a Philadelphia church affiliated with the Ukraine.  They also knitted scarves, hats and baby clothes for a clothing drive sponsored by a local high school.
