To be eligible for an apartment in our community, at least one of the applicants must be 62 years of age at the time of application. Applicants must earn a maximum of 50% of the Area Median Income (generally a maximum income of $55,950 for one occupant and $63,950 for two occupants). Occupancy is limited to a maximum of two persons per bedroom. For other requirements and application questions, please contact the community at (510) 553-9250.
Demand for low-income senior affordable housing far exceeds availability in most areas. We maintain a Waiting List to provide a fair and equitable way to track interest and make apartments available as they become vacant. Applications shall be distributed only when the Waiting List is open. Refer to the top of this page to see if we’re currently accepting applications.
If you have a disability and need a reasonable accommodation, or if you have difficulty understanding English and would like translation assistance, please contact us at (510) 553-9250 or BPZAdministrator@HumangGood.org. email address listed on the footer of this notice/flyer. We will ensure your requests are promptly addressed and provided with meaningful access based on your individual needs.
