To be eligible for an apartment in our community, at least one of the applicants must be 62 years of age at the time of application. Occupancy is limited to a maximum of two persons per bedroom. For other requirements and application questions, please download the application package if available. Applications also may be obtained at the community.
Demand for low-income senior affordable housing far exceeds availability in most areas. We maintain a Waiting List to provide a fair and equitable way to track interest and make apartments available as they become vacant. Applications shall be distributed only when the Waiting List is open. Refer to the top of this page to see if we’re currently accepting applications. Pre-applications can be submitted at www.accesshousingla.org.
Once applications are received and the waiting list is closed on the respective closing date, applicants will be placed on the waiting list based on a lottery draw. All received applications up until the date the waiting list is closed will be entered into a lottery software and assigned a number, which will determine placement on the waiting list.
