Plymouth Village arose as an offshoot of Pilgrim Place, which was founded in 1915 as a home for retired Christian workers. Passionate, driven residents of Pilgrim Place chose Redlands as the home for their new community in the mid-20th century, and the rest is history.
HumanGood’s origins go back 70 years, when American Baptist Homes of the West (ABHOW) was founded with the mission of supporting older adults on the journey of aging well. In 2017, ABHOW merged with senior housing provider be.group as HumanGood. Today, HumanGood is one of the nation's largest nonprofit senior living service and housing providers.
