Event Description
Decades of research prove that how we age is largely about the choices we make each day. But what choices matter the most? And does aging successfully mean a life of exercise and salads? Actually, social connections can shape our aging journey more powerfully than physical health. This presentation will help you understand this undervalued element, steps you can take to cultivate your social side and the dramatic impact it has on health and longevity.
Our speaker will be Teresa Beshwate of Masterpiece Living, a multi-disciplinary group committed to researching better ways to age as older adults. Teresa holds a master’s degree in public health and has spent her career in the fitness and aging fields.
Refreshments will be served.
