Judson Park Residents Advocate For Seniors in Government

Written by HumanGood | Mar 13, 2017

Judson Park residents, Trudy Thompson and Jim Patrick lead the Judson Park Resident Advocacy Committee's work at the community. The committee works with both the state and federal LeadingAge Associations to learn more about the issues seniors in our country are facing.

Through their education of other residents at Judson Park about various issues, they are helping to spread the word and inspire others to get involved. The group is very active in the legislative process. They communicate with state and national decision makers, lead letter writing campaigns and host signature gathering efforts. The committee also engages in meetings and discussions with the Washington Senators and Representatives at Judson Park and on Capitol Hill!

Our residents are stepping up to lead and putting a voice to senior issues. They are making a big difference here at Judson Park and in the greater community.
