Resident Janet Sims is a devoted Girl Scout collecting 20 badges and logging in 65 years of service as a lifetime member.
To celebrate the youth organization’s 106 years in operation, Sims and her fellow friends at the Terraces hosted a party for Troop 479 of Meridian, Idaho. Sims treated the girls to an afternoon of arts and crafts while sharing stories about her experience in the Girl Scouts when she first joined during second grade.
